Jacinda Jaensch | Jacinda completed a four year Bachelor of Health Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Jacinda specialises in TCM pædiatrics and obstetrics and is a qualified Doula. Pædiatric TCM therapy is vastly different to how adults are treated, and is a highly specialised area. Jacinda treats babies from just a few months old up until adolescents. Pregnancy can be a wonderful experience, it can also be a quite uncomfortable and confronting experience! Jacinda treats women throughout their pregnancies, dealing with early issues such as morning sickness and tendencies to miscarriage, all the way through to labour and delivery. Jacinda uses acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal medicine, massage and diet therapy to achieve lasting results. Combining knowledge from both TCM and Western medicine, Jacinda provides one with an in-depth understanding of one’s condition along with a thorough diagnosis. Jacinda spent a year studying in China with Teja, and has worked at length with renowned author and practitioner Jane Lyttleton. |

Teja A. Jaensch | Teja completed his degree in TCM at the University of Technology, Sydney. Along with this, Teja studied a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with Chinese language and culture as his major. Therefore, he lived, worked and studied in Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province in the PRC for 12 months. His passion for Chinese medicine arose out of his explorations into the Chinese martial art Gong Fu (功夫). After obtaining his Black Sash in 1997 and instructing for several years at the Kung Fu Academy , Teja travelled to China to visit Gong Fu academies on the mainland. Whilst travelling, Teja became very ill and got to see first-hand how the Chinese medical system worked. Although lacking in areas, the combination of Chinese and Western medicine in the public hospitals inspired Teja to immerse himself in the Oriental medical art form. After working in clinics in the city, Arcadia and Dural, Teja practices Chinese Medicine in Kellyville, instructs Kung Fu, Tai Qi and Qi Gong at the Kung Fu Academy in Castle Hill, and is the Vice-President of the Australian Chin Woo Athletic Society. | Teja & Lianah, 2006 |
